Our Venue
ASPCC caters for meetings ranging from 2 people through to conferences of 1,200 delegates and exhibitions involving up to 3,000 visitors. With soundproof movable walls, the design is a grid system for maximum versatility. Conference rooms can be rapidly reconfigured to cater for different events, exhibitions or workshops during a conference or to cater for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Our facility is capable of dividing into 11 separate meeting and event areas.

MacDonnell Room
Entire room Ideal for 400+ Delegates
The largest room in the Centre, the MacDonnell Room, can be divided into two separate rooms for greater flexibility.
Moveable walls allow this space to be divided into 3 smaller spaces or a combination of two spaces. This wall is sound proof to Australian Standards and can be moved within a 30 minute period. All walls in the MacDonnell Room are Velcro compatible.
The McDonnell Room as a whole, or each room once divided contains 3 phase power outlets, 10 and 15 amp power outlets, Internet / telephone patch points, and high speed wireless Internet connectivity.
Large vehicle access doors create additional flexibility to the Centre allowing large vehicles to be brought directly into the room for loading and unloading.
Ellery Room
Ideal for 200+ Delegates
The Ellery room can also be divided into two (half) or four rooms (quarter) for smaller groups and functions.
As a half, the room must be in length ways configuration. Each wall within this area is also lined with higher than average Industry Standard sound proofing, ensuring privacy and minimal disruptions. All walls in the Ellery room are Velcro compatible.
The Ellery Room as a whole, or each room once divided contains 3 phase power outlets, 10 and 15 amp power outlets, Internet / telephone patch points, and high speed wireless Internet connectivity is available (wired on request).
The Ghan Foyer
The Ghan Foyer can be utilised as the main registration area, hosting a large purpose built registration desk, or it can hold up to 8 exhibition stands. The foyer looking out into the courtyard can also be utilised for daytime meal breaks, pre-dinner drinks, cocktail receptions and small intimate dinners.
The Ghan Foyer has 10 and 15 amp power outlets, Internet / telephone patch points, and high speed wireless Internet connectivity is available (wired on request).
The Courtyard
The Courtyard, facing the magnificant MacDonnell ranges, offers a spectacular setting for outdoor functions for up to 200 people and can also be utilised for conference catering.
The Courtyard has 3 phase power outlets, 10 and 15 amp power outlets, Internet / telephone patch points, and high speed wireless Internet connectivity is available (wired on request).
The Porte Cochere
The Porte Cochere creates a formal and versatile entrance to the Centre leading into the Ghan Foyer. It can be utilised for outdoor catering and small outdoor functions.

The Alice Springs Convention Centre can offer customised audio visual services to suit any requirements.
The centre is equipped with digital information signage throughout the venue as well as complimentary wireless internet coverage for any conference guests. We can provide a private secure network for conference organisers accessible from both wired and wireless devices across the venue. Our high speed internet access is provided over fibre and additional dedicated bandwidth can be provided to suit your conference requirements. The centre can provide fully customised telephone facilities including dedicated incoming phone numbers and call handling to suit your requirements.

With world-class conference facilities, we also provide the little extras you need to make your event seamless and impressive.
Our in house audiovisual specialists, Encore Event Technologies, can assist in creating the look and sound you need. Providing everything from a basic wireless lapel microphone through to a concert PA system, staging, lighting, video/computer projectors, event styling, spectacular lighting themes and more!

While every freight company delivers to Alice Springs, the Alice Springs Convention Centre has an agreement with Toll Express and is pleased to provide our clients with 20% off freight costs that are arriving and departing the Alice Springs Convention Centre.
